Lockheed Martin recently celebrated the move of their Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Headquarters from Sunnyvale, California to Brevard County. This is just one step in Lockheed Martin's larger plan to move more than 300 jobs to the Space Coast. This move allows Lockheed Martin to continue their partnership with the Navy and build onto the programs they already have established on the Space Coast.

In more Space Coast news, OneWeb Satellites, which is a joint venture between OneWeb and Airbus, recently opened the world's first high-volume, high-speed advanced satellite production facility. The 105,500 square-foot facility is in Merritt Island and brings 250 new high-tech jobs to the Space Coast. OneWeb Satellites will be able to deliver up to two satellites per day at a fraction of the time and cost of typical satellite production, which is over one year and tens of millions of dollars.
