Raving Review -410 Coach Rd, Satellite Beach

Raving Review - 410 Coach Rd, Satellite Beach, FL

"Our experience with Carolyn and the entire Coastal team was great. We were relocating from Jacksonville Beach for a new career opportunity and looking to move quickly. From the first introductory call all the way through to the closing, Carolyn was responsive, friendly, diligent and made the entire process go without a hitch. In our situation, she ended up being the transaction agent/broker and I always felt like she was representing the best interests of all parties involved. We were able to quickly navigate and negotiate a win-win deal with her assistance. She also handled details we did not even expect including having the home professionally cleaned for us and doing the final walkthrough for us in our absence. Lastly, the awesome housewarming gifts and Coastal Estate Team swag were a great touch. (I use the coffee mug almost every morning!) I would highly recommend Carolyn and her entire team if you are looking in the Melbourne area."

A NEW Publix is coming to town!

Indialantic residents have been speculating for several months about the mystery grocery store they were promised. Would it be a Trader Joe's? Sprouts? Aldi? Lucky's Market? Nope, none of those! Instead, Indialantic is getting a brand new Publix... but not just any Publix. Publix has plans to build a "concept" store - meaning the design of the store and the products it stocks will be specific to the community it supports. It is expected to have fresh prepared foods, specialty meats and cheeses, organic foods, cafe seating indoors and out, etc. The store will be built alongside the Indialantic Center shopping plaza on A1A and may be open by the end of 2019 or early 2020.

Favorite Outdoor Dining Spots on the Space Coast!

It's the perfect time of year to enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner al fesco.

This month, the Coastal Estate Team is sharing our favorite Brevard County spots to enjoy a nice meal, outdoors! Favorite Outdoor Dining Spots on the Space Coast!

Bridget: The Biergarten at Coasters Pub in Indian Harbour Beach is an outdoor space that feels like a private garden - you're surrounded by tons of greenery and beautiful outdoor lighting at night. And bonus, you can bring your dogs!

Carolyn: River Rocks in Rockledge has a huge outdoor deck/dock on the Indian River. It is perfect for this time of year - warm sunshine, nice breeze, and spectacular water views.

Taylor: Masa Taqueria Y Cantina in Indian Harbour Beach has great outdoor dining with fire pits and a lounge area. They often have live music as well!

Tina: Murdock's Southern Bistro in Cocoa Village has a cute outdoor patio, and usually live music with yummy drinks and food!

Jen: The Mansion in Historic Downtown Melbourne (east end) has outdoor seating both downstairs and upstairs, where you can enjoy a cozy meal in the garden under the outdoor twinkling lights or upstairs with amazing river views. Sage: Sand on the Beach in Melbourne Beach overlooks the ocean and has outdoor seating both downstairs and upstairs in the bar area. We prefer upstairs; it is great for drinks and appetizers while you watch the waves roll in.

Don't Forget to Fall Back!

What's going on with Daylight Saving Time this year?

You might remember hearing that the Sunshine Protection Act (which would make daylight saving time year-round in the state of Florida) passed the Florida legislature back in March and was signed into law by Gov. Rick Scott later that month. However, in order to take effect, congressional approval is required, and for now, Washington has failed to act. This means that Florida's clocks will fall back in November just as they have for many years. Currently, Alaska and Arizona are the only states that don't observe Daylight Savings Time.

So, don't forget to change your clocks this weekend! Fall Back one hour!
