As you might have gathered through my previous posts, I absolutely love our local zoo, the Brevard Zoo, located on Wickham Road in Melbourne, FL. I have a family membership to the Brevard Zoo (Zoo membership – great Christmas gift idea for your children or grandchildren!), and as I was looking through their most recent newsletter, I was so excited to read about Brevard Zoo’s “Gifts to the Animals” event. This is a perfect “Winter Break Activity” for the kids, right before Christmas!
So, here’s the scoop on Brevard Zoo’s “Gifts to the Animals” event… taken right from the Brevard Zoo website:
December 21 – 23: Gifts to the Animals:
Fun for the whole family from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.! Each day the Zoo will give gifts to the animals at the following times:

In addition, the Zoo hosts Santa and Mrs. Claus at the Flamingo Cafe from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. each day. There will also be special animal encounters at the Main Entrance at 10:30 a.m. & 2:30 p.m., and games and crafts in Paws On from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. FREE with Zoo admission. No reservations required.
Gifts for the animals AND Santa and Mrs. Claus?! So fun! This is the perfect pre-holiday event for school-age kids. I am just trying to decide which day I want to go… maybe all of them!
